Who I am
Born and raised in OC — raised inside a restaurant.
I’m Edgar Aguayo, born and raised right here in Orange County. I basically grew up inside my family’s restaurant, B&C Burgers — where we’ve been feeding this community Mexican and American food for as long as I can remember.
I’ve put in about 10 years in the family business, the last 5 of them running it. Prepping for the rush, catering events, setting up, breaking down, and fixing whatever broke at the worst possible moment. Hospitality isn’t something I studied in a classroom — it’s the air I grew up breathing.

Why I’m doing this
I fell in love with the moment a room lights up.
Out of everything I did at the restaurant, the events were what I lived for. Not the rush, not the receipts — the moment. The look on someone’s face when all the little details come together and an ordinary night suddenly feels like a memory. I’d catch myself watching a party from across the room thinking: that. That feeling is the whole job.
So I made a decision that scared me a little — I bet on myself. I took everything a decade in hospitality taught me (the standards, the hustle, the obsession with getting it right) and poured it into something of my own: The Salt Rim, a premium mobile bar that brings a real cocktail experience to celebrations across Orange County.
It’s BYOB made beautiful. You bring the bottles you love, and we bring the entire bar — a handcrafted bar, fresh garnishes, craft cocktails, and a trained bartender behind it. You just get to enjoy your own party.

My promise to you
My name is on the bar. So everything has to be right.
I don’t take it lightly that you’d let me be part of your wedding, your daughter’s quinceañera, your milestone birthday. So here’s my promise: every bartender we send out is hand-picked and trained to my standard. Every menu is built around your event, never pulled off a shelf. And every detail — down to the garnish and the ice — gets sweated like it’s my own celebration.
When you book The Salt Rim, you’re not hiring a faceless company. You’re backing a person who’s hungry, humble, and pouring everything he has into getting your night exactly right. That’s a promise I’m proud to put my name on.
